I admire & envy your biking adventures. I physically can no longer ride a bicycle…I finally gave away my bike (wide tires, no gears, & coaster breaks. I miss it.
I'm sorry to hear that, Fred, you must be desolate. I hope that's not coming for me but fear it might. Did you ever read Sheldon Brown? The doyen of all things bicycle. I believe I read that towards the end of his life he had to go over to a trike. I can't see that working too well in London :-(
It really is. I can't wait for the 4am dawns. I'm deffo not doing the roads again though, that was a mistake. I'll go by the river path and just leave at 3 am :-) x
